Betty Lou Morrow - Chief Financial Officer

Betty Lou Morrow began her position as Chief Financial Officer with the Professional Liability Fund in December 2013. Prior to joining the PLF, Ms. Morrow had CFO/COO positions with large nonprofits and foundations in Canada and the United States. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, treasury, finance, human resources, information systems, and risk management.

Ms. Morrow graduated with a Baccalaureate in Commerce from Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada. Subsequently, she obtained Canadian licensure as a Certified General Accountant. Ms. Morrow has served on the Board of Directors of a local community health collaborative developing an operational model for the joint delivery of for profit and not-for-profit healthcare services. She has also presented at numerous professional events.  Topics have included budgeting with limited resources, alternative sources of revenue, the intersection of IT and finance, and the conversion of legacy software. Ms. Morrow serves as the Secretary-Treasurer on the Board of the Oregon Lawyer Assistance Foundation (OLAF).
